solo skydiving

Why choose us?

In 2010, Skydive Nagambie was presented with a "Future 50's" award by the Australian Parachute Federation President David Smith in recognition of their efforts in student and intermediate skydiver development and going further than many to standardize and improve instructor training.

About the course

AFFWe provide two ways of starting on your way to solo skydiving, Accelerated Freefall (AFF) and Tandem Assisted Flight (TAF), ensuring that you can choose the course that is right for you.

The ground training is the same for both courses, consisting of a full day of comprehensive training on Saturday followed by an overnight stay, and your skydive after revising your procedures on Sunday morning.

TAFThe ground training itself is primarily classroom based with a practical component. We will ensure that you are fully prepared for your first skydive. A number of subjects are taught including basic body flight, aircraft demeanour, canopy flight, emergencies and landings - just to name a few.

As the ground training is the same for AFF or TAF, you can still enjoy learning with your friends even if you are doing a different type of jump. You can even decide on which method you would prefer on the morning of your jump! Both methods allow you to continue on to AFF stage 2, which is the next step towards skydiving solo.

Skydive Nagambie offers student skydivers a choice of options for obtaining the internationally recognized 'A Certificate'. Courses are conducted over weekends for the student who wishes to jump on weekends only, or for the more dedicated, we offer week long courses at regular intervals throughout the year.

The choice is yours!
